Got a used truck camper that I've got to make sure that the wiring is ok, I know very little about AC/DC current so I need to read up on it. Are there any good posts that help out? The only power source that I can see is a 3 prong rec. on the out side of the camper and I cant find where a battery box was. I've not been able to follow it yet but there is a battrey charger pluged into a wall socket under the sink, now thats were it doesn't make sense to me. So any wiring info that I can read will help, Thanks Jeff

Thanks nhcamper, I'm not sure what was going on with the top, we would push up on it and it was heavy but once we let go of the bar it would come right down. So it either has really bad springs or could it be water logged.

I was looking at a 1975 Chinook at a dealer yesterday, and we could not get the top to latch when raised. Both of us were pushing up and I couldn't figure out how it's supposed to latch into place. All it did was slide up & down. So what's the trick. By the way the chinook was kept up very nice in the camper part but the engine kept back fireing when we would come to an idle and would sometimes die. There was what looked like oil all over the engine and It was dripping red tranny fluid ( auto ). I could pick it up for $1500 is that a deal for these? Thanks, Jeff

I was just looking at the 4x4 section and saw that 91 truck with a grafted on chinook body. Does anyone know where I can find some info on this swap of beds. Any help would really be kind of you, cause I want to give this a try. Thanks , this is a cool site. Jeff
