  1. You say all you had to do was replace the plug in ports.do you mean the valve cores or the whole port? What refrigerant did you use. How did you charge the system Can you give more information or is there a link to a site that covers this? 4. I have a 91 Toyota Itasca rv. Based on comments here I went to Walmart and bought one of their Everstart Maxx batteries. After about 3-4 months 2 cells shorted and I went back to get a replacement. Unfortunately they had discontinued that battery and insisted they would not refund my money but I had to take a substitute battery. I did so and performance has been marginal. We are planning in a trip back east and I would like to pick up a better battery. What are some of the choices?? Thanks, Chuck

  7. Well!!! One look at the manual and I spotted the problem. When I bought the RV the radio didn't work and in browsing under the dash I found a brown wire with a flat metal device (obviously meant to slide into a fuse receptacle) on the end. What is that I wondered ;-}} Now I know: it is the power wire to the cruise control. I haven't had time to try it ( it attaches to the radio fuse) but maybe tomorrow . Chuck
  8. My toyota Itasca Spirit came without a jack. Although I have roadside service, I don't like being without a jack. Can anyone suggest a bottle jack which will work with front and rear applications. Thanks, Chuck

  10. I have a 1990 Toyota v6 HD dually chassis with an Itasca Spirit RV. The cruise control does not work. I took it to a competent shop and they reported back: "The cruise control is not OEM and we could not find any documentation." Does anyone know of a source of documentation for this cruise control or suggestions on fixing it? Also, is there a source of service manuals for this RV? Thanks, Chuck
  11. I have a 1990 toyote rv with the 3vz-e v6 engine with 87k miles. I have the toyota owners manual but it doesn't specify the mileage. Or at least I cant find it. Can anyone help. Thanks, Chuck
  12. My IT321RB came without the battery. I cannot find any instructions on hooking the battery up. There are two main cables which are routed through what I think are thermal relays. One in the rear of the compartment and one at the front. Then there is a cable coming through a hole on the left front side of the compartment. Can anyone tell me what the wiring color conventions used by Winnebago are. In household wiring the black is hot and the white is neutral but I am not sure Winnebago uses the same color codes. Any help would be appreciated Thanks, Chuck
