  1. I put two 48 volt 5.25 inch computer fans at the top of my frig. Fans run slower at 12 volt but still push a bunch of air. Mounted them above the frig because it was a lot easier to do so. I cut a panel out of the chimney and made it so I could get access if I needed to. Wired a on-off switch, the blue light. Tapped into the 12 volt wiring behind the speaker to the left of the frig chimney. When the outside air temp is say 90 degrees, refer on, and the chimney temp is 117 degrees, the fans on will drop the chimney 15 degrees. I drilled a 3/16 hole in the removable panel and pushed digital meat thermometer in. It makes more of a difference in refer temp when the outside humidity is high. In dry, low humidity the refer does not build up near as much frost on the inside and is easier to cool.

  2. If you have a 79 vintage hydro flame furnace it does not have a circuit board. It must have been upgraded to a newer furnace. I used to have a 84 dolphin with a hydra flame furnace. It went belly up so I bought a new hydro flame furnace in 2009 and it had a circuit board. The old furnaces had a site glass and a manual piazo striker.

  3. I'm on my third set of Nexen sv820 tires. First set were on a 84 Dolphin. Got 42,000 miles on them with rubber still on them. Second set were on the same motorhome with 16,000 miles on them when I sold it. Third set are on my 94 Warrior. Now have 15,000 miles on them. Never a flat and only adjust air pressure because of temperature changes. First set on the Dolphin went to Yellowknife, NWT, Ca and to Alaska. Lots and lots of rocky road. Still have one of the original tires as a spare on the Warrior.

  4. I installed these LED's this spring and am very pleased with them. It's a 94 Warrior. You can see the old clearance lite were mounted with 4 screws. I filled the holes with polyurethane calk, I really like the stuff, then drilled new holes, 2 per lite and stainless screws. Calked with spray foam and installed new fixtures. Soldered all wire connections, and used heat shrink tape. Bought the fixtures from Bi-Mart in Oregon about $7 each. Don't remember the name of the fixtures but they were almost a perfect fit.

  5. Got home last night. Traveled 3468 miles, used 251.764 gallons of fuel at 13.445MPG. Not good but what was to be expected. Used 1/4 quart of oil. Some of the GPS locations for free to 20 dollars are, "Charleston, Oregon" " 43degrees 20'59.41" N by 124degrees 20'27.26" W " this place is on the ocean below Bettendorf state park. Sign says "maximum stay 24 hours" we stayed two days but were gone during the day. No camping fee. "Hammond, Or" close to Astoria, Or. This is a camp ground with no hook-ups on the water with a marina. 15-20 dollars don't remember. " 46degrees 12'18.42"N by 123degrees 57'09.51:W" BayCenter,WA 46degrees 36'44.34"N by 123degrees 54'58.84"W This is not a camp ground but a dead end road with a river and tide flat. Lots of birds, quiet, and close to South Bend, WA.
