  1. Thank you to all who gave me good advice. I went down to my Walmart, sure enough they had a few in stock. I purchased the EverStart deep cycle maxx marine and rv 24 dc. $75 dollars, out the door for the truck and 130 dollars for the coach .

We actually were at a higher end campground surrounded newer large MH's it was early in the season and they had space so they parked us at the far end 6' feet from a big MH. It was May in Maine so every time there heat came on it woke us up I asked if we could move "no we have people coming" it was Sunday morning. Bottom line I moved any way and no one showed up.

Six feet apart in a campground is a bit to close for our comfort. We will start our journey through campgrounds for the first time this spring on the west coast. Hope we can find some spots that are not full or so close together. Would love to hear some  more about campgrounds.

  3. I took your advice Linda and went with a heavy duty tarp that covers the entire roof. My two vents and air conditioner line up in the middle of roof for good water run off. Will keep up with any snow removal as needed this winter until I build a carport in the spring. We park it for the winter in eastern Washington where there is a lot less snow in the winter. Too bad know one makes a cover for our Toyota. We would of purchased one. I wonder how many others would ?.

winnie warriors & itasca spirits are the same units. the rb321 (I321) have a sheet thin metal over the roof & under the belly. They also have a metal framing (not heavy) but enough.

I would avoid anything that is totally wood framed (stick built).

Now that's good information to know. I did not realize that later model Winnebago's have metal framing.

  5. 😉      I am seeking to purchase a Toyota motorhome in the future and I do want the  V-6 motor. A shop owner that I trust , that only works on Toyota and lexus , told me that regardless of miles on that engine, they will eventually need a new top-end  if they sit and are not run often enough. A rough estimate of around $3000 for a new top-end on that motor. I am looking for other opinions on this motors dependability. Have you had good luck with your V-6 ? How many miles have you gone without any major repairs ?  Thank You for any replies.
