Makes sense, I appreciate it!

I have about 45 psi in the rear airbags, should I leave it or deflate them for winter storage?
-
How much is it? It seems like just in the past 2-3 months they have been asking wicked high prices. Ditto what Ctgriffi wrote. Look and look again for leaks etc. everything else is pretty much a buy/install situation. Good luck

Should I just get a Co2 detector or a combo co2/propane one, Any suggestions on a decent one to buy? This one looks good
-
Any harm in not getting a detector?

A code 71 came up, checked all the hoses etc. seems like it could be EGR? Or maybe ECM, I have a hunch it’s the O2 sensor and that’s just based on all the older Toyota trucks I’ve had in the past.... any thoughts?

Nice job, glad your liking Maine

Is yours a two wire or a four wire.
I just scrapped a 1993 T100. It had a 4 wire o2 sensor so I saved it as my understanding of o2 sensors is that the difference between a 2 wire and a 4 wire is that the 4 wire has a a heater.
Except for the extra wires it is no different looking than the o2 sensor on my 1988 with the 22re. Same bolt pattern.
I saved it out of interest in exactly what it does.
I sold the convertor from the T100 for 180 bucks.
Why are you asking Jed?
My engine light came on the other day, I'm going to see what code come up this weekend. I'm thinking the sensor maybe an option

Apparently not, Rock Auto has lots of aftermarket options and most are clearly marked with or without dual rear wheels. Here's the Toyota part number 89465-39446

Thank you!

Are the 02 sensors the same in the motor homes as say a V6 2wd truck?

EP 90. 10W 30 engine oil 99% of drivers do not need syn oil. I'll put it to you this way engines have no feelings so "my engine feels better using Syn oil" has no merit.
Ha ha I like that, true

Is there wood frame going fore-and-aft along this roofline, so wherever I'm trying to screw the rail just below the roof trim, going into framing wood? That's be fine - screws every few inches in the rail make it plenty secure. Thoughts & recommendations, anyone?
Your right on, screw the rail just below the roof line and you'll hit solid wood.

I want to replace the carpet in the cab of the motorhome, I can get a vinyl flooring that fits a regular cab but I’m not certain it will be able to come up to fit the flooring of the coach. Has anyone replaced the cab flooring like this? Thanks

Just bought 6 Thunderer 185r14 for $50 each.

OK so here the lowdown. Your shell has already been off the original chassis at some time. It didn't come on that truck. Look at how the rear wheels aren't centered in the wheel wells. Also Sunrader never made a 4x4 in 1980.

This started life out as a 2wd and someone along the way converted it into a 4x4 with 8 lug axles, what does the rear end look like?

You my friend have a mountain of a task in front of you, but a wicked cool starting point! For that project first I'd see what it takes to take the camper off to replace the flooring, if you don't have to then get to the flooring and work your way up, making sure the thing is water tight first. In my mind the engine, running gear ie truck part of the camper is the easy part. You will end up with an amazing rig, best of luck

Where is the starter on these bad boys?
Left side, down bottom. I think all your going to need is a 14mm and maybe a 13mm to take the wire off. You'll need an extension, they are in there a bit.

Suburban makes a 3 burner cooktop that I am thinking of getting then a convection oven or microwave to install underneath it. Anyone know if this will work? I’m thinking the heat may be an issue.. not sure if these need to be vented..
-
So the stove we have in our 93 Dolphin is junk, mice used it for a few years and it’s beyond anything we want to mess with. We are looking for maybe a microwave/ burner combo.. What have others used when getting rid of the stove/oven?

Could need door pins. I’ve also found that when someone locks their keys in the cab and tries to put a wedge where you are having an issue, sometimes the door frame bends too much and doesn’t go back to original.
