RecPro RV Plumbing Hardware | 06884 | 1/2" Compression Type 2-Way Elbow Stop Valve | 90-Degree Shutoff Fitting | Pex Pipe/Tubing Fittings (2 Fittings)

Those are your low point drain valves, type that into Amazon and buy a replacement.
-
Just weld a hanger to the frame behind the driver side rear wheel.
-
I have been thinking of installing one, I will be interested in seeing your setup
-
it would be quite a bit cheaper to convert it to 4x4 than to buy a factory 4x4 Sunrader.

Love the picture, I’ve got the same model as yours and love it. Enjoy the adventures.

Hello, all. I have a 1986 Nova Star with the fiberglass shell. If I use FRP, I am creating a second vapor barrier, correct? Does anyone have suggestions for other bathroom wall materisls to avoid moisture and mould growth, especially from condensation inside the wall? Is this even something I should worry about?
No don’t worry about it.

Not sure if this helps. My son lives in Okinawa and is into old Subaru’s. He has bought them from a website named Goonet Exchange, google it. They are very good to deal with and from what I can tell it’s like a Japanese website that caters to dealers putting their inventory on and selling to individuals. The website has many many vehicles and may have something you’re looking for.

Yes in the same isle as the FRP they should have a few different corners/ transitions that will work
-
I used white plastic FRP sheets, flexible, durable and easy to clean.

If the rig is only 1” tilted I’d say you’re doing good, old rigs aren’t ever going to be 100%. Buying them is easy now the fun of keeping them on the road starts.

Take the carpet or vinyl up and see what you have underneath. If it’s not too bad you can lay a piece of Luan over it and the flooring will be smooth.
-
If I’m understanding this correctly can you add to the opening of the camper to accommodate the 1/4 groove?
-
It may cost a bit more but I had a local upholstery shop make ours and it fit perfectly
-
We have Thunderer’s on ours, over 15k miles now and very minimal, even wear. I would recommend
-
I'm thinking it may be leaking past the glass/frame seal into the frame itself and out one of the screws in the bottom holding it together, running to that bottom corner. If it is the pane/frame seal, how would I go about repairing it or locate parts rather?
I had this issue as well, the rubber gasket can be replaced, I would add silicone to it before installing, obviously only on the side that is stationary. -
Your thoroughness is impressive, I did the same type of project on ours a few years ago and should of taken as many pictures as you are, great for reference in the future should a issue arise.

Ditto, know as much as possible about the truck, that’s half the fun with these. The other part is just heading out on an adventure. I’ve been 2000 miles from home in some remote places with ours, takes me back when I took off from
home just out of HS in an old truck and found my way up near the arctic circle in AK, man I didn’t know what I didn’t know back then and what an adventure!!

I'll come back to one of my original questions re: an Upgrade. Anyone know if my 3.0L 3VZ-E throttle body can be replaced with another, more modern Toyota throttle body, one that is still actually for sale?
I don’t believe that you will find any of the newer, 2.7, 3.4 or 4.0 will fit.

Its not a EGR, it would be worse than that. I would say something in the fuel delivery system or not getting enough air somewhere. Never heard of a smoke test the way your doing it 😆
-
Any hardware store will have something that works as well.
-
I we have a set and have put 15k miles on them so far and am extremely happy with the wear and ride.
