  1. Im curious about how to do it properly, but i have considered that. Also, does that part fit? for whatever reason rockauto and amazon do not think that its a proper fit. Regarding the lower control arm bushing, that one is pretty easy to pull. I've got details on the tool i made if your interested.
  2. Does anyone have details on how to remove the upper control arm bushings? The service manual is not terribly helpful and references a tool that is expensive and difficult to come by.
  3. Not sure if this answers your question; I haven’t noticed a difference from the Yokohama Y356s I was running originally. And they feel a little stiffer in corners.
  4. I forgot to mention they can be studded with a #16 stud when new.
  5. So far so good. Ive put about 2500 miles on them and the mold line from manufacturing are just starting to wear away.
  6. Thanks! I haven't had any issues on the highway other than they're a little loud. There is a little loss of torque since they are slightly larger than stock diameter, although ive got a 5 speed in mine which doesn't help my case since the 1st gear starts a little tall for the 22RE. Being in Seattle rain i had to find something better than the typical 356s or Vantras since the sunrader turns into a bobsled in the rain.
  7. I recently (January 2019) changed my tires on my 86' Sunrader to some STA Super Traxion E78-14LT and what a difference in the rain, snow and mud. They fit well in the rear and have very little bulging so im not worried about them rubbing. And in the front i haven't had any clearance issues. The biggest improvement is braking in wet condition and traction in the snow. Other than being a little noisy, I think they are totally worth it.
  8. The snow hasn't been and issue for since i switched my tires on my 86 Sunrader to these: https://www.stausaonline.com/tires/sta-super-traxion/#lightbox/0/
  9. Ive got a 86 18ft Sunrader and I recently swapped my tires for these: https://www.stausaonline.com/tires/sta-super-traxion/ They are great in the snow and improve braking CONSIDERABLY in wet conditions.
