  1. Thanks WME. Where can I purchase these metal guides? I have 107,000 on mine but so far so good. Would rather be proactive than reactive. Ken
  2. Good morning guys, I thought I saw someone say to check your timing chain guides to make sure it is metal. I just spoke with a guy who works for Toyota as a mechanic and he wasn't sure what I was talking about. Can someone fill me / him in again? Thanks, Ken
  3. Buick, Looks like you have done mucho to your toy. I'm replacing my carpet floor with vinyl. Right now getting rid of those darn million stapes. My question is - Should I place a 1/2" of plywood over existing floor then place the vinyl down? In the rear there looks like big (2") round nails going throuh floor to what I think is to hold down floor but none near the front?? Thanks, Ken 1986 Sunrader 4X4
  4. OK, I "think" I finally found some 14"s!! This guy is selling his 14" wheels off of his Chevy Luv 4x4. The size is Cheverolet off chevey luv 4x4.4 -195/75R/14. Will this finally work!? Ken

  7. If anyone know of some used 14" wheels that will fit over front hub on 4x4 in California please let me know. Thanks, Ken
  8. Thanks Shoprat. You funny man. Thinking to sand the inside and repaint and to make sure all seals around rear window good. As far as the outside goes I never tried to work with fiberglass but heck it can't look any worse than it does now so I'll give er a go. Ken
  9. People must be enjoying their weekend.
  10. I have some projects for this Sunrader and was hoping for some suggestions from people that may have done this before. I have found a cabinet that seems to be the right side that goes on the outside of the propane tank on e-bay. Closing in 4 hours and has several. The inside not sure. the floor seems fine and was told that the rear window was replaced so might have some water damage around it. Thank you, Ken 1986 Toyota Sunrader 4X4
  11. Found it! Sucks getting old. Was CO detector near floor.
  12. OK, here's another stupid question that I can't figure out. I am getting a loud, high pitched sound, coming from inside the shell. It sounds like a co2 alarm but I haven't installed one yet. It comes on for approx. 30 seconds then fades out. I'm going crazy trying to find this annoying sound! Any ideas? Have looked in cupboards, electrical box, etc. Ears can't pinpoint it! Any experience with this? Ken
  13. Well, I changed the oil and plugs today. Got a new fuel filter also. Not looking forward to change the fuel filter! That looks like a pain in da behind to get to!
  14. How big of a generator would be sufficient enough to run a micowave, blender, coffee maker, etc. Was thinking of purchasing a Honda 2000, but thought I've seen something about having a 4000? I have a 1986 Sunrader 4x4 18'. Don't know where I would put a bigger one than the 2000 if I really need that one at all. Don't have any knowledge on how these watts work. What do you guys use? Thanks, Ken
  15. I spoke to a mechanic friend who suggested not flushing it and to just change fluid and filter
  16. Impressive! I've got a extra room over here in CA. for you when you feel like "another" project. Ken 1986 Sunrader 4X4
  17. Greg, did you ever get pics done? Can I get a copy of it also? Thanks, Ken 1986 Sunrader 4x4
