  1. Thank you @Derek up North - much appreciated. I've done some more digging and found another really interesting Toyota MH - I've updated the post with two new pictures. Any idea about this model? It's a 1994 diesel 4x4 with 2.8L engine. Thanks so much!
  2. *UPDATE* Just had another great vehicle pop up on the auction list, and if my eyes aren't failing me, it seems to be a very rare model.... I've added a second set of pictures "Hilux Galaxy" below. From what I can tell it's a 1994 Hilux Galaxy Motorhome 2.8L Diesel 4x4 with only 20,000 miles? Based on my research this is something that tends to bring a pretty penny and is highly sought after, but I could be getting a little too worked up. Just watched this video and it made me drool. Anyone know anything about this model? I'm trying to figure out what a smart budget is going into the auction. Seems like the few others that I could find were selling for $15k+? Here are some other details for this one: "Type": LN106 "Chasis Number": 0103715 Grade: 3/5 ****Previously posted is below**** Hey everyone... I am active duty US Navy stationed in Japan and have the ability to get cars from auction here just outside of Tokyo. Sorry for such a "newbie" post, but hopefully this is the first of many! I stumbled across this RV coming up at auction in about 12 hours from now... and it's labeled as a "Toyota Hilux Camper", but with the left hand drive, I'm pretty certain it's not a Hilux. The auction sheet is in Japanese and I have no idea what most of it says, but I do know the engine runs fine and is in solid condition. These are the only pictures I have, unfortunately. So I'm relying on the pros here in this forum: Can you identify which model this is? Here are the details I know: Year: 1993 Miles: 32,000 (52,000km is what they wrote) Displacement: 2950 "Rating": 3/5 which is a pretty solid score. I purchased a 3/5 van from auction previously and it has served me very well so far. So here's what I'd love to know... 1. Which model is this? 2. If I'm 5'9, would I be able to stand up completely on the inside? Will I be able to lay down completely in the bed? 3. Assuming it's in great shape (many Japanese-owned cars are extremely well maintained) what sort of price would this go for in the USA? Rough estimates are fine! 4. Is this 4WD? Would it be able to handle snowy mountain roads en route to Colorado (or Japan) skiing destinations? I am very strongly considering posting a bid on this tomorrow to make it my ultimate snowboarding mobile, but I'd love to get more details about it before jumping in. THANK YOU so much for the help. - Ben P.S. - There are some other really great options coming up tomorrow for auction that I am considering, if you have any info on the above about these, let me know! No idea what prices these would run in the USA... but if you have any info, tips, etc. please don't be shy. Alternate A: 1992 Izuzu Rodeo Camper 4WD 2.8L Diesel w/ 43,000 miles - 3/5 rating Alternate B: 1994 Izuzu ELF Camping 4WD 3.1L Diesel w/ 90,000 miles - 3/5 rating Alternate 😄 1993 Nissan Civilian Camping 2WD (I think) 3.5L Diesel w/ 22,000 miles - 3.5/5 rating Thanks again for the help. Hope to be coming back to the USA with a camper in tow when the Navy moves us in April.
