The area in the foreground - is there supposed to be a tank there (black/gray water?) Looks like something is missing. Also any reason to be concerned with the dented/leaking transfer case?

Hello! I am considering buying a 1985 Sunrader 21' RV. I am concerned about the rear axle issue. Could you all please tell me if this axle is the "foolie" AKA bad axle? The RV has only 51,000 miles on it. Very clean exterior but needs work inside. Also curious to hear thoughts about the frame in general. Superficial rust, or worse than that? Thanks!
