  1. Looks like you got the best of the breed, last year of production for our RVs and low millage. Congrats! How much did you pay for the exhaust work?
  2. Bought Continental Vancos 2 Load D 8-ply at local Canadian Tire, I am sure you can get them in Europe since that's were they were made in the first place.
  3. Hello, I am getting ready for our first long trip in our first MH to Vancouver Island and have gone through some preventive maintenance to battle the long hills of Canadian Rockies: - Mobil 1 10w-30 full synthetic in the engine - Castrol 75w-90 full syn in the rear diff - New air filter - NGK platinum sprk plugs - Alignment - New rear tires - Green slimed the air bags to stop the leaks - Timing done to factory specs - Was gonna order new cat and O2 sensor and then I came across this: according to many sites 93 pickups in US had one cat, this is not the case in our long wheelbases imported form Japan, there are two of them welded in the middle and flanges on each side. Go figure. I guess I'll just order the O2 sensor for now and may be do custom exhaust with one cat in the future. So, FYI for anyone thinking about replacing the cats. With above mentioned maintenance I was hoping to eliminate hesitation around 2k rpms, but it has not cured the problem. The V6 also has rough time starting on cold Canadian mornings, but idles and starts fine when the engine is warm. I don't know if the two issues are related. Has anyone experienced this on their V6?? Just wanna make sure we make it to the Island and back to Calgary in this toy box. By the way HG has been done at 37k miles, MH has 135k miles now. Thanks in advance!
  4. To my big disappointment, there is no grey water tank on this MH! After the grey water dump valve the piping goes straight to t-joint under the shower and then towards the kitchen sink :( . The piping does not look stock in this junction, so I guess it has been replaced by previous owners where Grey Tank has been taken out completely for some reason. Oh well, bucket under the grey valve it is when boondocking.
  5. thank you all for suggestions, I will check upon return from my two week rotation up North
  6. I thought you were joking at first, I was imagining that this vent would be on the tank itself. I haven't actually been on the roof yet, I am 90kg and was scared to dent the roof, however, my 2.5 year old son has already been there, scared the s**t out of me...haha.
  7. Thanks for prompt replies, I'll check with 23 liter canister how much exactly does the grey tank hold, I am sure its nowhere near factory 45 liters. Is there a way to check that topside vent?
  8. Finally, after buying the MH in February, we went on our first 2 day test trip. This was great experience and we were surprised that everything worked. My wifey even said that this was the best family investment I have ever purchased. However, we did have one small issue that gave me some headache. On our first morning, I discovered that shower was filled with water and it started leaking to the bathroom floor. No biggie, I drained both grey and black water tanks and water in the shower disappeared. The very same day the same thing happened again, water in shower coming out of the drain, so I pulled the valve for grey water and water in the shower drained out. What is going on? According to Winnebago manual, the grey tank should hold 12 gallons or same as black tank as well as fresh tank. Am I forgetting something? This is our first MH and I am very new to this. I checked the two ring valves near fresh water tank and they are both pushed in. Please advise. We are planning a long kiteboarding trip to Vancouver Island and with two small children I need that grey tank to work. Thank you very much for any input. Much appreciated.

  12. I just got mine '93 Toyobago Warrior with unique floorplan from Montana for $7800 and exported it to Canada, all and all it came out to 9000 with all import taxes. 133k and needs four new tires, no generator, everything else seems to be working. $15k is definitely overpriced, you never know how much you gonna spend down the road if something brakes. Overall got 11-12 mpg going 70 mph, rear tires at 40psi, was afraid to overinflate the old tires, all empty, some headwind and some hills. Is this ok mileage? Or is something wrong??
