Took longer than expected to finish, smog and register the Dora, but she's finally out and we're on our first maiden voyage-up in Eugene for the week, meandering back via coastline, and heading back to Ashland, Or again in two weeks for a four day Herbal Symposium/seaweed harvest. Updates, include, new carpet, chairs, uphostery, paint, led lights, new cab-over, ceiling, and a few other rot repairs. New mirrors coming in the mail, as well as a soar system. Still planning to paint exterior myself, probably artwork of some sort and a wheelcover that has something calming zen phrase to help those poor irritated folks in a hurry!

Hey thank you, Karin. I really appreciate the invite and will definately take you up on that. I hope to explore as much as the Pacific Northwest as possible and Seattle is on that list. Hoping to utilize the Odyssey to check out a few of my favorite things to do in the Cities I want to see as well... things like Farmers Markets, Food Co-ops, Botanical Gardens/Specialty Garden Centers and Specialty Yarn Shops, any kind of festivals/workshops to attend. Although our 3.5 mile access road to our 14 acres is pretty rough most of the time, it is quiet out here, and there are a few fairly level spots to park you too are welcome if the need arises. Not much around here to do or see though... Thanks again for your kind offer..

Boy, If I didn't know better I would say this was my Toy~ mIne is exact....Even the soggy ceiling! Sounds like we bought it from the same scam artist and his wife too. I travelled 9 hrs to buy it sight unseen. When we got there he says...ooops I've got a few problems... no thermostat (lord knows what else) and a freezing ride back to Cali! Fortunately I bought mine in Or though and registered it in Or. It did ride well despite the lack of cab heat, so as soon I get the plates it goes in to my mechanic to see what's going on.. In the mean time I'm replacing wet and damaged areas. Good Luck with your project-So sorry you've had such a bad experience. Karma will prevail! ~Peace From Here~lori

Yeah, we talk to a lot of folks at the Farmer's Market, that come to Redding from the Bay Area to escape the fog and enjoy the heat. A lot of house boats on Lake Shasta too. I on the other hand will be heading up to Mt. Shasta, which has two free campgrounds and to the Oregon/Washington Coast to escape that heat this Summer. Hubs loves the heat so he's good.....
