  1. I am looking to replace the vinyl wallpaper that surrounds the shower pan. Any ideas where I can find the correct material needed? This is for a 1992 Itasca, if there is no such item, ant ideas on replacing the shower would be helpful. Thank you
  2. Anyone know where I can find a good quality door seal that will slip over the knife edge on the door to the MH?
  3. Tony, Thanks for the reply, I'll try the bottle and screw jacks see if that helps. thank you.
  4. Does anyone have have a good idea for stabilizing my 92 Spirit when i'm parked. Any ideas would be appreciated.
  5. I replaced all my running lights with LED lights purchased from the "light house" in West Sacramento, CA. They cost around $8.50 apiece. If you would like more info let me know and i'll track all the info down for you.
  6. So did he, matter of fact we spent 45 min looking for the bezels he knew he had, but couldn't find. His little shop is like an adult toy store, I was seeing things that I had absolutely no use for, and trying to find a use for the item.LOL. Any way he is a great source for anyone with off the wall questions.
  7. I travel across the Nevada (Moon) desert often. Radio ignorant. HELP.Cell phone no good. Wife would love to hear from me when im on large fires.Thanks.
  8. Found the right bucket seats bolt right in and feel great.
  9. Tony, Thanks for the info. I am having the rear springs re arced with two leafs added which will give the Mh a 2 inch rake unloaded. This should account for the rear bumper mod. At least according to my okie math. Thanks again for you reply
  10. Cal, I'm currently in the process of a re upholstering right now. I have a 92 Itasca Spirit. If your foam is good save it, that's a huge cost. The following is a cost saving list. 1.Save your foam, if they say its "stained" it can be wrapped in plastic. This is a HUGE profit for them to replace. 2.Offer to remove the pieces yourself-saves on labor cost. 3.Buy your own material, can be found at any discount fabric store. 4.Work on a cash basis. I have saved an incredible amount of money by doing these steps, which I might add was suggested to me by a very honest upholster. The answer to your question about how much? My Itasca took 20 yards at 12.50 a yard. Make sure you buy quality material from USA and not China. American made is a little more expensive, but well worth it.The guy i'm working with in Roseville, Ca told me to put a swatch of material from both country's in a closed mason jar for 24 hrs then smell, WHOA, what a difference. My job includes bed over cab , seat covers for bucket seats, couch, dinette cushions and the valances came to 600.00 now keep in mind this is labor cost only with me buying the material and removing the items. Hopes this helps. Cal
  11. Thank you Greg, Not only have I called George, I have spent many hours at his shop. Great source of knowledge. No luck. LOL, the quest is on.
  12. Good question Allen and thanks for the reply. I check with Winnebago and they have a Winnebago parts # for it, but it's actually a Bargman product with its own bargman parts #. Anyway production was stopped in 05 on what they call a "tail light wedge." I will spend today over at our local recycle row hoping beyond all luck that I might find them. Thank you for the help, Cal
  13. thanks for the reply, Ive called bargman, they no longer make them. i've contacted all rv supply store that I know of approx 18 of them with the barman # no luck. I've given up not worth the time and heart ache trying. Thank you gulfstream Greg for the ONLY reply. I would of thought with thousands of people on these forums a little more assistance would have been forth coming after 12 days of being posted. Oh well live and learn. Thank you
  14. Cathy, You might want to try www.winnebagoparts.com they carry decals and strips. I found them when I was looking to replace my decals. Just a thought, you might want to look at having them removed and painted back on. I know that sounds like a lot of money, but I found the labor costs, and total pricing were about the same whether I had the old vinyl removed and new vinyl put on or just had them painted on. May i suggest if you want to look at getting them painted contact your local fire dept to find out who paints their engines, who ever it is will have a paint booth bid enough to accommodate your motor home. Good luck
  15. The part I'm looking for is the plastic piece between the tail lights and the motor home body. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
