I have interference between the new bigger booster and my steering rod. Did anyone just grind the lip of the booster? I don’t really want to grind on the column as there is a weld there.

I had to shim up the bottom between the compartment and the hinges to get things back where they weren’t rubbing.

The fiberglass creeps under load when it’s new if it isn’t supported or hasn’t cured completely.

I found this video on YouTube about removing blind (or “pop”) rivets. Might be useful.
