  1. I recently had a few posts here about a 1980 Sunrader, and whether or not to swap the rear axle. I am grateful for all the help i was given, but once again things have changed. I sold the 1980, for a nice profit, which I was also grateful for, and then almost immediately came across a 1988 Sunrader sitting next to someone's garage. I asked if they wanted to sell it, and they said sure, because they never used it. I got the impression it may have been willed to them. Anyway, It's a 22RE Automatic. It hadn't been started in quite a while, but over all seems to be in pretty decent shape. I don't care for there rear bathroom, much preferred the rear dinette, but it's roomier which makes my wife happy, and well, we all know how that goes. So, it was about 50 miles from the house, and coming home I could never get it over 60 MPH, overdrive was absolutely not an option. and just as I was turning onto my street it started cutting out, and died right in the driveway. it started right up, but was running quite rough. It was late so I parked it. Now it seems to run fine until it warms up, and then it seems like it's dropping a cylinder or something. Runs very rough, even if you give it gas. I did the Diagnostic jump between T and E1, but it flashes 5 times then pauses for about 2 seconds, and flashes five more times, with a total of three groups of five with 2 second pauses. I'm assuming that indicates a code of 50, but I can't find a site that shows a 50 code. I would sure appreciate any thoughts?
