I'm new here but I've been a reader for a few years. Like Wade, I have a Toyota RV that doesn't have power steering. It's a 21' Rogue with the 22re engine. We've been up and down the west coast the past 3 years with this beauty and not once did I wish it had power steering. It also has the manual 4-speed transmission that has consistently given us around 18mpg. There is something to be said about keeping things simple. Less complexity usually translates to less problems.
