  1. I only took the top part of the carb off...  my neighbor came over and he is a good backyard mechanic...  We found the spring for the secondary accel pump and put it back together...  we primed it and it started...  We had to keep priming to keep it running and then we started to check why no fuel to the carb...  Loosened the banjo nut and it had pressure...  can't get it to idle but we need to figure out why the fuel is not getting in the carb...  strange...  any ideas???

  2. I was in the process of putting a kit in the carb,,,  my cat jumped in my lap to get some scratchies and jumped in the pile of small parts and some small parts went flying...

I do not know what was lost other than some small springs an other parts I cannot find...  I imagine with a fresh kit,,, someone who knows what they are doing could put it back together and have a good carb...  I do not have that knowledge...

Thanks for the responses...  I think that I am going to go with the weber carb...  My cousin asked me what I wanted for Christmas and I gave her the link and told her that is the one I wanted...  I will have to wait a bit but I have work to do on the interior...

  4. I messed up while working on the 20R motor...  I need a replacement Asian carb for my 80 Huntsman...  Anybody done the weber conversion and have their old Asian on the shelf

PM me if you have one...  Thanks

  5. Hi...  just starting going through my 80 Huntsman w/20R motor...  Does anyone know what kind of carb they put on them and where I can get a rebuild kit...  bad accelerator pump,,, so I might as well put a kit into it...

    Thanks

  6. excuse me for jumping in here but I have a question or two...  I am a new, first time owner of a MH,  I have an 80 Huntsman which has a place for the house battery in the engine compartment...  I am going to get a deep cycle and put in its place as there is no battery...  Is there an isolator in that circuit...  What does an isolator look like...  Thanks

  7. I have used TPMS on my motorcycles for many years...  Iooked on Ebay and for about $130.00 you can get a 6 tire management system and will get one for the ToyMH...  I also run a product called RIDE-ON in my tires...  It will not mess with the TPMS and will keep the tires in balance but also if a nail is picked up,,, it will seal it...  when you pull the nail out and the system goes "PHSSS" ( a bit of air escaping) and it is sealed...  I will also use this in the tires for the MH...  The Ride-On has saved my bacon several times on the bike and I am sure it will work great for the MH tires...
