  1. Here is a picture of what I think the problem is.
  2. Have a window rattle. I'm sure the rubber is shot, I'm not sure how to replace it. I have a short strip at the top and the bottom. I seen a video on YouTube and it showed me that the rubber goes all the way around the window and just pull it out. It looked to be a newer window. My bottom rubber has two places slotted out for water to drain out of the frame. Has anyone done this?
  3. It's fiberglass and it leaks at the top so I will have to drop it. I guess if it worth fixing l will patch it. It may crumble. It has a lot of fiberglass mesh all.over it.
  4. Thanks. I'll get some measurements and start looking
  5. Hum ok. This tank looks like it was made out of fiberglass mesh. I don't know if it would be worth fixing or to get a new one or to put it back to original with two tanks.
  6. Ok thanks. I have one big tank for all and it leaks. Another project to do
  7. I seen a dolphin motorhome parked at a flea market and looked under it and their seems to be two black tanks. Maybe one for the toilet ,shower and the other for the kitchen sink. Is this correct?
  8. Does anyone have pictures of a waste tank under their Toyota motorhome. I would like to see others and compare to mine. The one under my rig looks to be homemade. I have looked for some tanks online and haven't seen any that look like mine. My tank is notched out for the frame rails.
  9. Just got back from a 1000 mile trip since I upgraded to the six lug floater rearend. From north Alabama to South Carolina then to Asheville North Carolina to see Biltmore Estate then Knoxville Tennessee then Chattanooga then back to home to north Alabama . Averaged 22 mpg and spent $132.00 on gas. I spent more at the Biltmore Estate for a self guided tour a guided tour and a picture for two people. That was $180 for that and 3.00 bucks for a 20oz coke, but it was worth it.
  10. Does anyone know what happened to zero?
  11. I have 7 leafs. I had the 1/2 ton axle and changed to the floater. I guess I will just have to deal with it. My springs are nicely curved, new bushings with axle upgrade. Thanks for all the input
  12. To stiff in the rear. I'm running 60 psi in tires. I seen some coil over shocks that is rated at 500 lbs per shock. I don't know if that will be enough to help take some weight off the leaf springs
  13. My Toy has no bounce in the rear, is there a shock that can give me some? I have no air bags.
  14. Wanting to change my gear oil on my toy. Which is better synthetic or conventional ? I have conventional 80w90 and synthetic Royal Purple 75w140
  15. The 195 is taller than the 185? I have 205 75 14 on the back duel wheels and the side walls have enough clearance to fit a piece of cardboard between them maybe less. I believe I made a mistake by getting these car tires even thought it had car tires on my rig when I bought it. Still learning
  16. 1984 mrv savannah 22r carb 4 speed. Full of fuel 12.5 gal tank. No food, people or belongings. Fresh and waste tanks empty. 5,620 lbs
  17. Got my floater today. It's out of a 1987 box truck with 144,000 miles and is a 4:10 gear ratio. Leaf springs are 37" apart so no modifications to do. Now I will have no worries about bearing failure on my travels.

    bugs

Bought some new swade material to do my coach furniture. Me and my wife had the house a mess doing all the work. lol. Everything was finished and looking good . About a week went by I went to check things out after a heavy rain. U know checking for leaks, went in and notice little blackish gray bugs everywhere. Oooweee. Caught one of the little jokers and took it to a pest control service he said carpet bettle. Humm must be from my new material, he said YEP. He said use any aerosol on the fabric to kill the larvae and vacuum to get rid of them. I done what he said using Lysol fresh scent and lots of vaccuming. That solve the problem in a few days and left the toy smelling good
  19. I ran across a post of someone was on a trip and the dually wheel came off the death axle, he posted some pictures of the damage. I used the search box and still can't find it. Can someone point me in the right direction. Thanks
  20. So it's possible that the 88 one ton was modified to 36 1/4 ( a guess using a yard stick) but maybe 37 inches that should bolt right up to my 84 frame.
  21. My 1984 mini has the 5 lug and I measured 37 inches. I found a one ton floater that is a 1988 he measured 36 1/4 between the springs and he said that's a rough measurement with using a yard stick
  22. Does anyone have information on how far apart the leaf springs are on all 80s Toyota's pickups
