Hey guys im removing the coach battery and isolator from the hood and just running my starting battery. whats the best way to do this? id imagine take the alternator lead off the center plug of the isolator and put it on the hot terminal of the starting battery but thought id check. If so should i fuse the wire? I have an 83 Sunrader thanks!

Hi all, looking to replace all my sunrader utility vents with doors (compartments will be exterior compartments now) the coach is going to be full electric. any ideas where i can find some new hatch doors? preferably locking ones.

what are your thoughts on replacing tail light bulbs to led? any issues with that?

Hi all after two years of camping full time in my 18ft 83 rader im doing a full remodel. im very interested in what you guys got going on in yours. tips, pics ect.. looks like this is the best time to swap out all the running/tail lights too.. any suggestions on what i should get.. id like them to be bright as i do lots of night driving. is led recomended?

fixed it was the slave cylender it froze up... off it was fairly new.. im moving now.. thanks for the help as always you guys save my butt constantly.

so i am currently replacing the slave and master cylender. im noticing that the clutch fork has almost no play at all. i cant move it with my hand. this isnt normal right? anyone encounter this?

Hi all. started having an issue where i was driving on the highway and the shifter became very hard to get in gear and eventually stopped going into gear. the pedal became very spongy. made it to a parts store in payson AZ thankfully. ( 30 miles in 3rd gear sucks ) need some help diagnosing. if i put the truck in gear and try to start it with the clutch pressed it acts as if the clutch is not pressed. ( bucks ) What ive tried: i disconnected the clutch master cylender and plugged it up. pedal was hard so mc seems to be working. also the clutch fork doesnt seem to move all that much when pressing the pedal. i have video of this but cant seem to get it to post. Any ideas or suggestions?

hi fred i know they look old but they just arent! 100 percent i was right there when we did it. i got even newer ones and im gonna see what happens.. both me and my mechanic are quite baffeled. any chance you remember the brand you got? have you looked at them recently? still in good shape?

my brother in law and i did it. they were definatly replaced 100 percent. only 2 months ago. all of the rubber stuff under the truck needed replacing. ( the rig came from texas) very dry down there. they do look like they have been on there a while but they have not. install was very easy too.. so odd.

i know right? your not using heavy duty bushings or anything right? just factory?

hey all. I replaced the rear leaf spring bushings about 2 months ago as mine were in bad shape. within 2 months time they looked like this and are junked... i used moog bushings.. all 8 where replaced and they all look like this! anyone deal with this? should i be looking for polyurethane ones?

I believe it’s called repacking the wheel bearings is what I’m trying to do. My mechanic said they just had a little to much wiggle.

Ok yes this is what I need to do. I do have friend helping me who has done the repacking but not on a toyo.

Hey again, i believe my front wheel bearings need adjustments. I noticed when replacing the shocks they rock back and fourth if I pull on them. Not to familiar with this job. Anything I should pay close attention to? Any recommended resources? Thanks!

Hey all, my shifter is tough to get in gear on cold start ups. I’m guessing that the transmission fluid needs replacing as I’ve never done it. Think that’s the case? What is your recommendation on transmission fluid for an 83 Sunrader? thanks!
