[Did I get a good deal on this motorhome]

I think you got a very good deal. I recently purchased a 1987 Dolphin with a 22re fuel injection, auto trans, 80K miles for $5975. It also is in good condition, but not as good as yours sounds. It had no rust, but I had to do a little body work to get it looking good. It has all the goodies, Onan genset, A/c., (amazingly everything works)1 ton, dual wheels with the good axle, We haven't taken any long trips, but it runs great with decent gas mileage 14-16 depending on the speed.

I did some surfing on the internet to find touch up paint for my 87 Dolphin off white paint, color code 033. It was $19.95 for a 12 ounce aerosol can. I also found paint that closely matched it at Autozone, it is white paint for pickups, suvs and RVs. $4.95.

[Auto Transmission temperature gauge]

Has anyone given thought to using the transmission dipstick hole for inserting a temperature sensor, therefore eliminating the complexity of messing with the oil pan ???

I have a 87 Toyota Dolphin with air shocks that are not working, I understand replacing them is very expensive. Has anyone installed Air Bags as a alternative, and if so what kind and how are they working for you.??

I have heard that there is a temperature gauge available for the Toyota automatic transmission. Does anyone know where I can buy one? Also if anyone has one, is it a useful thing to have?
