Hi, I'm a totally newbie to RV living. I just bought an toyota odyssey '78 about 2 weeks ago. I believe the owner dumped the bathroom water before I bought it but I tested out the plumbing and have dumped some water into the tank thru the sink as well as in the toilet. My question is how often do I need to dump the water in the bathroom and the gray water? If I'm not using it how long can i let it sit if there is water inside? Also, the owner told me to dump the bathroom water first then the gray water. Is there any youtube video out there or manual about how to do it? How to connect the line from the tank to the waste? Will an RV place let me dump the waste even if I don't park it there? Sorry if I'm not using the right terminologies here. But any information would be helpful! Thanks!!

It's fixed! Thanks so much. It was just corrosion between the contact to the bulb.

Hi, I just got a 1978/79 Odyssey. It's a 1978 model but all the paperwork says 79. The reverse tail lights do not turn work but all the other tail lights do. We checked the bulbs and they still look good. Our assumption because they both won't light up, is that when reverse is engaged, the connection is faulty or lose. How would I approach fixing this? I have read forums about checking the voltage, also near to the transmission side but nothing about actually getting in there and knowing what I would need to replace. Any help would be appreciated! Hi, I just picked up a 1978/79 Toyota Odyssey. The interior is almost all original and came with this cute Trav'ler 4 Burner Stove with oven. Unfortunately the oven probably hasn't been used in decades or was never used. When I tried to turn the oven knob on, the brass valve snapped where knob connects. It might have been lodged off enough so the gas is running through the pilot however, the pilot gas can't be turned off. Does anyone know where I would be able to find a replacement part for the Oven Burner Control Valve for this Trav'ler Stove. The model number is 164-50. I have checked PPL Motorhomes and they seem have some of the parts, though nothing for the oven valve (just the burner valves or so I can decipher). Any leads would be incredibly helpful. Would love to fix this! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
