  1. I was referring to the size of the breakers that you listed, I guess I'm confused why I even need them or are they stock on all Warriors?
  2. I'm running a stock converter from my 1989 Warrior, I do want to upgrade one day to a 45 amp three stage converter. With that in mind what size should I get?
  3. I was trying to clean up some wires in my battery box and one of my connections snapped right off. What are these boxes? Where can I find a replacement? Clearly I want to wire these all up with new boxes, these look pretty bad with corrosion. Mike
  4. I have a 1989 Winnebago Warrior, stock converter.
  5. What could be causing the overheating? Would that still point to replacing the converter?
  6. I have an issue that I need some advice, my converter will start charging my battery when plugged into shore power but then stop charging after 5 min or so. If I reset my breaker it will start to charge again but then stop. My breakers are not tripping and my fuses are fine. Is my converter just toast or is there something else going on here?
  7. I sent them measurements and they made the cushions, new foam and zip covers. The angle was spot on, the cushions fit perfect. Pete
  8. I found a great place online that made me a custom set of cushions for my 1989 Warrior, the company is called Vstar products. I highly recommend these guys, I think they turned out great. I am now on the home stretch with my remodel.
  9. Hello, I purchased a 1989 Winnebago Warrior a few months ago, I got it for $1500.00. The inside was pretty rough so I ripped out the walls and ceiling and replaced them with FRP panel from Home Depot. I am finally almost finished, I have focused on updating my rig full of electronics to satisfy my teenage boys. Here is a quick teaser, I've never seen anyone put a screen in like this so maybe I'm the first? Mike
  10. Also I switched to 0 guage wire at the recommendation of Xantrex, I guess 4 guage is a little small for that inverter.
  11. I have a Xantrex pure-sine 1000 watt inverter, I am placing it in the coach close to the battery which is in the outside battery box. I also have the Xantrex in-line transfer relay which I will be connecting to the converter. I will need to run an extension cord from the relay to the inverter, that will be my next wiring hurdle. Thanks for the advice. Mike
  12. I need to route some 4 guage wires from my inverter to my battery. The shortest and easiest route would be to drill a hole through the plastic wheel well to go under the coach. Is this a bad idea? Mike
  13. Thank you for all the advice, the problem did end up being the polarity being reversed. However the issue was with the monitor, not my wiring. Somehow the monitor was shipped with the red wire labeled 12 volt and the black wire labeled ground when infact they are reversed. I tested my own wiring using a volt meter and hooked up some lights to verify. I'm at a loss at how this could happen. With that being said with my positive 12 volt hooked up to the monitors ground and my ground hooked to the monitors 12 volt wire everything works great.
  14. I am trying to install a 12 volt 10 inch monitor in my 1989 Toyota RV, I tapped into an interior 12 volt wire that goes to one of my lights however my monitor fuse keeps blowing when I connect the monitor. I am measuring the voltage when plugged into shore power at 14.5 volts, unplugged I am at 12 volts. I suspect the 14.5 volts is my problem, does this mean my converter is bad? Mike
  15. I love these LED Light, cheap and bright. http://www.ebay.com/itm/RV-LED-interior-light-Boat-Utility-trailer-Cargo-Trailer-12-volt-Ceiling-light-/171068539078?pt=Motors_RV_Trailer_Camper_Parts_Accessories&hash=item27d47ac0c6&vxp=mtr
