  1. I just dont understand the 65lbs max with rubber valve stems. I think thats bull. I have a work van and trailer with tires that require 80lbs of air pressure. all the wheeels have rubber valve stems. Worked fine for over ten years now. Drove van and work trailer from LA to portland up mountains and down mountains. So 65lbs max on rubber valves Bull........................................

  2. The box was done by previous owner , cant help on cost. But if your in the portland area and want to copy it. just holler..........

There are two recievers on each side welded to the frame and the box is capable of sliding on and off. The bumper is bolted to the frame under the recievers. The spare tire is sitting on the bumper and is bolted into the box which is locked. I even carry a white water kayak on top of the box and have had no problem...................works fine.

  4. John, where do I start looking even to find the main components so I can fiqure out what it is? Has a handle coming off of the steering column with on-off-resume and resembles rostra I found on line. But I have found no main components mostly cause I dont know what I'm looking for............

  5. Check the brake fluid level, top it off, also check the parking brake handle to make sure it fully retracts and doesn't turn on the "brake" light.

Broken wire at the brake switch.

Some of these models used magnets on the drive shaft and a sensor to pick up the magnets. They can also get Vehicle speed from the Trucks computer.

This is a fairly common unit, should be able to find diagrams etc on internet.
