  1. We have a 1990 Dolphin, we bought it in October 2010. It lives in Mesa, AZ (outside of Phoenix). We have traveled all over AZ with no problems, it goes up the hills towards Flagstaff and the high country with little effort at 50MPH but I can push it and can go faster. This is one of the best purchases that we have ever done. Here in phoenix the only problem that we have, is we get a lot of people ringing our doorbell to ask if we want to sell it, NO WAY will we get rid of it.

  2. Is there something you can buy off the shelf? These look pretty home grown. Would be nice to be able to put something into the existing light socket and have an LED on the end. Anybody have a link?

I found some LED lightbulbs on ebay they fit in the fixtures perfectly.I replaced all of my lightbulbs with them. They emit a blue light but for me, I have to have all of them on so I can see well. My Dolphin needed 14 bulbs, I buoght 4 extra bulbs and I needed to replace 2 of the bulbs because some of the individual LED lights in the bad bulbs did not work. With the relatively low price per bulb (approx $3) I was able to afford to replace a few of them and still be in to them for less than it would have if I bought LEDS from the camper store.

  3. This is on an 86 Sunrader. Right by the front door there is a recessed handle with a light bulb in the top section. This is your combination handle to get in the door and porch light. The whole thing is 5 inches wide by 9 inches tall. The upper light section is 3 3/4" wide X 3" tall X 5/8 inches deep. It has a screw hole in the bottom middle and two tabs on the top that hold it in place. The local MH part house can not find this light cover part in their catalogs. Does anyone know where to look for these?

Today we got (6) 8 ply tires and a muffler, a rather expensive day...

When I bought my 1990 Dolphin, it did not have the cover ether. I found one on ebay for just a few bucks, and it fit perfectly. The total cost including shipping was about $5.50, this was just for the plastic lens. You can buy the whole handle also. This seller was super fast and they have a lot of parts to help if you are missing anything else. http://myworld.ebay.com/ebaymotors/m_jwoz/?_trksid=p4340.l2559

  4. My wife and I just bought our 1990 Dolphin loast month, we are thrilled that there is a rally so close to Mesa AZ. We are looking forward to attending this event, and maybe picking up a few things for our new toy. We both think that this will be a great event to meet some new friends with common interests. Hope to meet you there, SteveJ.
