Yes, Dex II or newer dex. DO NOT use powersteering fluid.
What happens if you use power steering fluid instead of tranmission fuild? I wondered the same thing about transmission fluid called for in the toyota manual to be used for the power steering and so I asked the guy at our local auto parts store.
He said to just use power steering fluid...so I did. What problems will this cause? and what should I do?

I painted my wheels black with paint that gives a hammered look, bought new chrome lugs and added new trim rings and it lloks great to me.
I thought about painting the wheels too. That is probably what I will end up doing also.

I just bought an 1986 Sunrader last week that has 145,245 miles on it. Great shape and runs well so far!

Yes I do have the 5 lugs in the front and 6 lugs in the back. Thanks for the help.

Newbie here and wanting to know where to buy wheel covers for my 1986 Sunrader. Will any 14" wheel covers fit both front and rear wheels with the center hub? Any help appreciated.

Just purchased an 18' 1986 Sunrader named "Lil Arvie." Located in Eastern Washington.
Can't wait to take my first trip!!
