Had our Mini Toyota rally in north Florida this weekend in St. Augustine. We had a total four RV's show with seven people attending. We camped two nights at two different sites, Anastasia state park and St Johns RV park near flea market. Activities included going to dinner in Old St Augustine, night walk down streets of Old town. Trip to beach with photo shoot. Trip to St Augustine gator farm. Trip to Castill de San Marcos fort. I took a side trip Friday night to San Sebastian winery for dancing and drinks. Saturday before leaving park we shopped at flea market and said our goodbyes.

I had the same problem with the u-bolts being to long. I cut an 1" off my bolts and tack welded the bolts to the axle because bags keep shifting. I purchased new 3" u-bolt from Home depot that had more threads for a tighter install.

@ Karen, I have been wanting to move my shower valves but had no idea where to move them inside the small bathroom. They are a pain where they are located in the Sunraders. I think your idea of moving them to the back wall is a good one. Where can I purchase a new faucet that has the 1/4 turns. I have seen these used on hose bibs for outside use but never seen this inside faucet in the stores. Who sells them.

Karen, i want to see your tunnel from tent to RV after construction. I was thinking same with a standalone screen tent.

Karen, I want to purchase a Dometic Cabana dome awning to my Sunrader. Two year ago there was a close out on this unit. Now you are expected to pay retail. I have been looking for one on sale, I'm in no rush. One of the member of our camping group has one on her Rpod and I really like the way it works. Easy set up and will keep the cold air out on chilly days. I want one that is 9' in length.

Worked like a champ for me. You have to glue it to some thin plywood first. For picture go to https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/minitruckcampers/photos/albums/518890692

RV stores, camping world, Ebay and Amazon carry the 3/4 inch insert. I like the black, easier to maintain. Sell $6-10 roll.

Karen, nice job on the closet walls. I like your idea better than the way I framed my closet. Took me forever and still a little flimsy . You are right there was not a level spot on my Sunrader with the floor and roof both bowing. You just about have to cut long and trim to contour.

Nice job on the ladder mod.

Today I install magnetic latch on my closet door, to keep door from opening while on the road.
I also install felt pads on every cabinet, bath and closet door. These felt pads are sold for chair legs as gliders.
Doors are now quiet when they close and felt provides a good cushion.
Felt pads are self stick.

Wanted to be able to carry my Kayak and bike at the same time. I built this rack from a picture off the internet. There is a company that sell these but they are pricey.
I started with a cargo carrier I purchased from H/F that attaches to a trailer hitch. I use 2" square tubing for the vertical and 1" square tubing horizontal bar. The vertical bar attaches to the trailer hitch with 2" angle iron.
I did install a bumper block between the bumper and the vertical to take the play out. The bumper block stiffen the vertical riser, with very little play.
All the steel was welded except the u-channel where the front tire of the bike fits into. The u-channel was installed with a u-bolt around the 1" tubing.

Nice job Radbot, looks like you know what you are doing. Nice view of the mountains. Look foreward to more of your progress.
I wish I lived a lot closer, I'd be over every day. Nice project.

I did see some water snake and a large turtle.

Just gotBaked some oat meal bread. The spring itself. You can sit in our float and just chill. Night view of the spring. Last night all the college kids were swimming at 11pm.
back from three day trip to Ginnie Springs Florida. Was a great trip. The park has 100 electric and water sites and at least 200 primitive sites. I choose the electric but next time I go I'll go primitive on the water.
This spring is very popular with the college kids, It gets a little noisy at night.
You can tube in the spring or take a tube down the river, the water is 72*. It does not take long to get use the the water temp, when the sun is out.
Got a chance to use the new grill, worked great.

At Karen, I have the same problem with my front curtain rod. Not using the old plastic stuff. I hope you can post some pictures after you're done. I need some visual instruction.
Thanks.

I remove the gas manifold and bottle and stow the manifold in the grill. The bottle will fit on the side of the duffle bag.

Been searching for a gas grill to fit in small Sunrader. I purchased the Brinkmann. I have used it three time and was well pleased with results. Purchased from Home Depot for $39, is light in weight.Hope to be baking pizza and biscuits. requires the use of matches to ignite and I have always cooked on low heat. When legs are folded up height is 12" and width is 15"
I like the idea of being able to bake in the little stove. When not in use I stow in a larger duffle bag.
