I have an Odyssey model which has a very strong roof (2-ton test...whatever that means). If you can stand on your roof and it does not give, I think you will be okay. I ended up laying two 8 foot pieces of composite (no rot/wrap) decking boards down, then bolted the water pipe frame to it.

I have used a spare tire bike rack, but a homemade one. I when to the hardward store and got 1 inch gas/water pipe and made a zig zag type rack (6 inch, elbow, 18 inch, elbow, 36 inch pipe). It dropped right down the U-channel that the spare tire mounts to. I then used two straps to secure the bike next/on the tire.

May want to try the Sears in El Paso. Sears carries two brands of 185/r14, they are Continental Vanco 2 Tire- LT185/R14D 102/100Q BW and Hankook RA08 Tire - 185R14. I cannot tell if they are in stock or not. Sears 915-834-2000 (750 Sunland park dr) and 915-775-4900 (8401 Gateway Blvd).

A few things to check for is to look for water damage around the widows. Take your finger and push on the walls around the windows, it should be nice and solid, and flex probably means water damage. Take her on the highway, she should drive like a Van and at 60 to 65 mph should be nice and solid. Check to see if the rear end level while parked, if not you may have some leaf spring worked needed
