  1. I could make it out with the family in the date range of March-June months don't know if a more solid date is in the works but that is just my two cents. :D

On their website it says "our season is April thru October".....so I presume this to mean you plan on having this Toy-in rather soon???

  2. WELCOME!!!!!!! AWESOME SITE HUH??? I RESEARCHED THIS SITE BEFORE I BOUGHT MINE :)

    Thank you!!!

So far, I started to go through and seal anywhere that needed to be sealled. The worst spot seems to be the the cab-over bed with dry rot, water damage. I went through and replaced all the damaged wood, re-seal, and it's ok now.

-All appliances seem to work except the frig, I can't get the spark. It's the Norcold unit. I will search the forum but any hint would be appreciated

-Black water valve leaks so I just bought an extension with a valve...quick fix for me, cost $23 bucks

-Other minor issues here and there but so far it's great. I actually drive to work and park in the company lot...it fits

-I have learned a lot so far from this forum. Great members here, pls. keep up the good work. I'll upload some pics as soon as I figure out how to.

-Got to love Toyota reliability...read here: http://www.garagepar...alta/story1.htm

  3. Since April 2009 picked it up at a RV dealer in Las Vegas NV flew out on a Wednesday night did some light gambling and got picked up at the hotel in the morning and went to the Dealership to see the Mini. It was dusty and smelled a little funky but it was all in tact nothing a good cleaning couldn't fix. Drove it back to El Paso, TX with not one issue except maybe coming close to running out of gas a couple of times lol :Poster_oops: have loads of fun in it my boys 4yr &5yr love it. Since I have a love for motorcycles figured why not BLEND my two passions. :D

    dpstangfan93, that's a nice setup!

How long have you had your mini?

  4. El Paso Texas in the house!!!!!! woohooo wanted to take my Warrior up to the ROT rally in June but decided to ride out on my bike instead would of been fun to at the camp area in my Mini RV though maybe next year

    Hello,

Currently shopping for a ToyHome and am totally new to RVs.

Would love to hang out and gush over your rig :)

    thanks!

  5. That is sooo awesome I have 91 Warrior it's great having a idea of what our rigs cost back in the day!!!

For those who may be interested, here is the original window "sticker" for our '92 Winnebago Warrior. This, along with a plethora of other original documents, was kept in pristine condition in plastic sleeves inside the loose-leaf Winnebago Industries Motorhome Operations Manual.

  6. My purchase started with me fishing around e-bay and I ran across a Westfalia, and I thought to myself ahhh that would be cool to purchase for local fishing trips. Then I stumbled accross some Toyota Minis, and I was like  so that drew my ALL my attention to finding the right rig for me. I started researching in AUG 2008 and finally decided on a RIG out of LAS VEGAS NV. I figured I fly out get a little gambling in and drived my 91 Toyota Winnebago Warrior back to EL Paso, TX. I was leary at first to the notion of having mechanical failures along the road, but PREVIOUSLY OWNING Toyota pickups with the 22R engines in them and 4 Toyota 4Runners with the 3.0L engine in them I was pretty sure I was in good hands. I wouldn't have taken such a chance with any other make of Motorhome. Long story short the drivetrain is a pretty sure bet you are going to a good dependable vehicle it's other areas that you really have to have a keen eye on. Turns out the Salesman didn't do a very good job explaining the extras the RV had and that served to my advantage because the Warrior had about $2500 worth of goodies added to the unit from the previous owner so I feel blessed I choose my particular Mini. Picked it up with 75600 miles in April of 2009 and currently has 80300 rolling around the desert Southwest having loads of fun in it.

  7. Any idea if the Toy In is going to happen we are coming up on the colder months and don't know if it will happen come Spring. I'm in West TX and could moosy my way over to AZ fairly easy for a toy in. I actually flew out to VEGAS and brought home with no snags what so ever!!!!! Wouldn't take a chance on any other make lol have about 7 Toyotas under my belt from SUV's to trucks to passenger cars.

  8. I had a idea of having all my decals measured professionally by a local guy to have them taken off and redone in the same colors or like colors but with reflective material on the WINNEBAGO lettering and maybe the thinner lines. Just a thought but I think it would look cool and safe at the same time....

Would you have any info on the font used for the "WARRIOR" lettering on the side? Or perhaps a good image of it? The lettering on mine was removed when I bought it, it's tough to get it remade with no place to start....
