  1. Thanks Derek the Laguna layout is very close I can't see the details very well the door is closer to the front it needs a closet & storage. thanks again RHS
  2. I just aquired another project '82 Sunrader 21' front door just behind passenger seat, rear bath on driver side back corner, kitchen "L" along back wall beside bath, frig on driver side in front of bath. This unit was almost gutted bath & kitchen all that is left I am not sure of the rest of the floor plan can't find anything like this any where on line. Has anyone seen any thing like this RHS
  3. Update: put battery under hood took out ar flter box used "cone" filter attached to air flow sensor had to lengthen wire to sensor don't like bracket will redo wish I didn't have to deal with air flow sensor
  4. Thanks Totem this 18' has propane tank in center of back. About the only place the battery box could go is the only storage access to the outside under the rear seat drivers side but that is the only storage space not sure I want to use that space up. It would have to be a sealed box open to outside. RHS
  5. Project going well. shortened chassis & driveline 32". Chassis on '86 wider than '77 having to get different black water tank. Gas tank on '86 in rear had to remount filler spout. Battery for rv on early units under hood not sure where Sunrader put them in '86 a couple options, still thinking. May move air filter box & put under hood. The '18 Sunraders are small enough don't want to take more room for battery box. Will let you know what I did. RHS
  6. wme thanks for the info a great site he has more energy than I do. I just want a 2wd sunrader that we can use. I almost have odyssey tore down, this will get interesting before its done. thanks again Rich
  7. I have a 1977 '18 Sunrader in good condition & 1986 Odyssey low mileage, good running gear, very bad roof and rotted rv part. Want to put Sunrader on Odyssey chassis. Chassis will have to be shortened (not seriously concerned have been a fabricator for years) some work but I think I can handle it. My concern is removing Sunrader without damaging it. Also mating to '86 cab. Has anyone done something like this or any help full ideas about jacking etc. not sure how floor is attached Thanks RHS
  8. fuel gauge problem

  9. That would probably work. We have never been to a rally would be fun.
  10. Dave Yes That was me have 2 toys. '81 sunrader that we put 5000 miles on in '09 but it is "stick" wife does not do "stick" we found '87 dolphin "auto" so trying to sell sunrader runs great but 152,000 seems to scare people. I think spring will try again. Will get in touch soon. Rich

  12. I do not know if you found your answer, but I rebuilt a '87 Dolphin. Left side was basically gone so I tore it all off and rebuilt it. I have step by step pictures. If I knew how to put the pictures on I would if it would help. I spent lest than $300 for material. RHS
