  1. Hi ,

Sorry I did not get back as I took a small trip in my motor home I had to get rid of the old Vents and bought new ones and put them in with new sealants . I then took it to the guys to have them mask up and do the prep work and then have it spray over the vents sealants and the side of the motor home I did this because i want it water tight and after it spray it will be hard to remove the vents that why I add the air maxx vent cover over the orig . vent these can be replace when needed . After the spray I paint the bed liner first with Krylon Primmer white and then painted with krylon gloss Ivory this color really match with the moter home I left the side black as it look cool from my neighbor point of view . ( high school kids advice ) . I hope I answer the questions feel free to ask more .

  3. Could you send us a picture that could help you finding the right part for you

I recently purchased an '85 Toyota Sunraider. The shroud is missing from the AC. I cannot find a model no. on the unit, so I don't know what shroud to buy. It is a Dometic, can anyone give me an idea what model it is. The unit measures 22" x 32" x 12".

  4. I think i saw that when i was looking also the brand name i believe start with a H At the moment i cant think of it and you roll it on and I believe it cost something like 100.00 for the can . I have no idea how it will work on the roof should be okay as the bed liner in a truck we need some members to try it and get back to us .

  5. Hi there It depends on what you want spray i did the sides also as you can see in the pictures so it cost a little more I paid about 1,000 but it depends on the company and who you go to. Get prices from many shops then you will get the real cost of the job . to me it worth it as it really seal the roof and it cheaper than a new roof from the rv shops and the spray on bed liner last longer . I hope that helps

the decal i just made it up at a store that sell decals at the mall

  7. I am looking at your picture and it looks like an awning bracket right below your water heater door. Is there any chance you could post a better pic of the bracket? I have a similar situation and would like to install an awning but have put it off because I thought the water heater door was in the way. Thanks, Mike

It a propane door when i get home and run over to my mom i will send a pictures of that for you and hopefully it will help you just give me a few days .

    Hi,

First of all, thanks to those that replied to my previous question. We have definetely learned a lot from reading through the postings on this board. It looks like we might finally have found the RV for us. It's a 1986 Odyssey, 4cyl, all appliances work, and it has about 55k miles. We want feedback about a couple of things. We have read that the roof of the Odyssey is solid and aluminum. Does this mean that it is heavier? If so, is this of a concern? The generator is broken, is it expensive to fix (it's an Onan)? After a tire blow out, the RV pulls to the right. Is it hard to align these vehicles? We are purchasing the RV for $3700 (we're in Southern California). What do you guys think?

    thank you!

  10. Look nice like to see some pictures when you start working on it good deal !!

I just bought a 1975 Toyota Chinook this weekend. The camper has a lot of cosmetic work I need to do on it, but other than that it runs great. I drove it home to Seattle from Portland this weekend, and it didn't give me any problems. I'm pretty glad I don't have to worry about speeding in it, either.

It came with all the original manuals for the Chinook and the Helux, and the water pump, fire extinguisher, propane stove, ice box... it's pretty cool. The owner who had it before the girl I bought it from was a mechanic apparently, and had replaced pretty much everything except the transmission within the last 5 years. The engine is a 22R, all the belts and hoses have been replaced, it came with 5 brand new tires and rims, and a new battery. I think I did pretty good for $1300.

But it's got a lot of work to be done inside. It has some added guages - thermostat, battery, and oil; but I know at least the thermostat guage doesn't work, and no heat comes out the vent - only the defroster. The original owner put a toilet in behind the driver's seat, which I am going to take out and replace with a storage cabinet or something. I want to re-do the other cabinets inside (one has a broken track for the sliding panels)and replace the carpet. There are a couple of spots outside where the fiberglass needs to be patched up, and some inside panels need to be replaced from water damage. The pop-top isn't in very bad shape, but I need to take it to an uphosltry/awning place to fix the zipper on the front panel that is broken. All the nuts and bolts and screws are pretty rusty and need to be replaced, and maybe a new cover and another burner for the stove. I want to replace the icebox with a fridge, and replace the radio (which doesn't work) as well.

I'll post some before pictures before I start working on it.

  11. Nice rig like to see more pictures of this toyota

I've just picked up a little RV and would like to find out more about it. It says Odyssey in faded letters. it's an 84 with a 22R. it's got a pop top. I'm looking for a service manual, but after looking around I haven't even seen a photo of one like this one, so I'm not sure what to call it or what manual I'm looking for. It has a five bolt axle and single wheels. Thanks, Will.
