I have been told to fill it with the nozzle upside down and it works better, i havn't tried it yet, just got mine on tuesday.

I would think you would see a deffinate power difference, but you can always go with a shorter one to reduce weight, mine is a 22r and it has more power than i thought it would and its due for a tune-up.

I don't know about this one, but when i was in the sport compact world i heard of a few of the rotor fins coming apart and the plastic pieces getting into the engine and ruining it!

My newly acquired 84 Dolphin has a 4 speed tranny, it is either a W42 or a G29 according to the plate on the firewall (not very legible). My question is if the 5 speed 2wd tranny my bother has will work or is the gearing in the dolphin tranny lower to help with the weight?

The difference is the 22r is carburated and the 22re is fuel injected, the horsepower difference is around 10-15 hp from what i have read.
22r's where in the 84 and older, 22re started in 85.
