    Hi

    We have a 1989 Leisure Odyssey Americana.

    It is in very nice condition with a few repairable things.

    We have had it for about 2 years.

    I previousley owned am 88 Dolphin but sold it to our son

    We live in Mesa , Az

    Tire and airbag Pressure

    There must be 500 ideals on how much air pressure the tires should have. You should be able to get the info from the coach builders ID plate behind the drivers seat on the side wall of the cab. They seem to be all over the place so I guess there really is not a definitive answer. Mine requires 50 psi according to the coach builder both ends they built it so I am inclined to believe them. Weight also is a factor more weight you haul the higher the pressure should be be but not to exceed the tires rated pressure. Air bags should be the same both sides.

    I have a 89 Odyssey Americana that I bought last fall. The tires were badand at that time I was not on this website so anyway I replaced them with new 195R14C 8 ply rateing. on the side of the tire they

    say 65lbs and the max load for duals is 1985 lbs. seems like that would be a hard ride. If i decrease the pressure the bottom of the tires really get close together. Do you think that they will rub and cause a blowout?

    leaking gas filler neck

    My filler neck to my gas tank leakes while filling up. Anyone had this problem and knows how to fix please email pdinc2@msn.com

    I've owned 2 toy motorhomes and both of them had a leak at the filler hose. It just rotted out over the years.

    If you are mechanically inclined got to aoto parts store and buy a replacement hose. Its not too difficult to replace.

    Thanks for the invite. We love that part of the country. We use to live on Hwy 96 down river from Yreka. and traveled northern California and Sourthern Orgeon quite a bit .

    We live in AZ now but if we ever get out that way again will look you up. Thanks again

    Late model Odysseys

    Sorry, I just now saw your post. I have an 89 Oddssey Americana Fargo floorplan. We bought it last year and have been working on since then. It was in excellent shape. and enerything is original.

    I worked on the exterior fiberglass , cleaning it up and having the stripes replaced. It is now an extremely good looking motorhome. (I am prejediced }

    We took a trip this summer back to Oklahoma an Kansas And Texas Got 17 Mph overall.

    They really good motorhomes. I hope you enjoy yours

    to remove decals

    I found a product to remove decals from our toyota moterhome works very well and fast . The product is call smart Eraser Pad by Astro pneumatic tool company . My mom Moterhome decals are sun faded and crack I will remove them and clean and wax then later will paint the decals so it will look nicer . Just thought I should share this with others I send some pictures as well .

    Hello,

    I also have a 90 Odyssey that did not come with any manuals. I was able to piece together

    a few things that I found on various Internet sites. One was a 4 page sales paper on Odysseys

    that shows all of the floor plans and provides detail on all of the options.

    I also have some material on the how to operate.

    Reply back with an email address and I will send you what I have.
