Of course I would think the 6 is going to be better on hills and the diff in mpg from what I am seeing on this forum is about the same. I have the 6 in a 21 footer. A recent trip to Dallas from St Pete, Fl., got about 15 mpg. Not much in the way of hills there.

Final average on our trip to Dallas was just over 15. Seldon went over 60 mph, had some traffic, ran the a/c more than 1/2 the time and had ethanol in most of the gas . I found that using the cruise control causes the trans to shift down too easily and affects mileage too. The ECT button didn't seem to make any diff in when it shifted. I suppose that without air, ethanol and heavy traffic, I'm sure I could get 17.

Well, the trip to Dallas told me I have a 17 gal gas tank when I thought it was 20. Ran out.....lol
Also, I had gas w/ethanol and with start/stop traffic, only got 13 mpg. After that, about 15.5....ran some 93 octane on about 20 gallons of the 60-70 gal used. Not so bad considering that we are pretty well loaded and we have the 21' model....... ttyl.....Tone/Joan

HI...I have a question for you all.... Does anyone know of a facility that has beach view camping...preferably with electric and water anywhere from Florida to Texas. We will be taking our first long trip in our 21' Toyota Gulfstream and I just can not think of anything cooler than to be camping right on the beach ,being able to enjoy a cup of coffee with an ocean view !! ( even though we live 10 minutes from the beach here in Florida )lolol..Any Ideas or suggestions would be appreciated...Thanks Tone and Joan

Any Ideas where to find an owners manual for a 1991 toyota gulf stream motorhome...Thanks
-
Can anyone tell me what this is for?? No generator with this '91 GulfStream. No owners manual either. Also there is a blue toggle switch on the dash to the lower left of the steering wheel. Anyone know what that is??? The guy I bought it from wasn't any help(just a bit inebriated). Glad I went ahead and bought it anyway.....it was a good buy.....lol

I'm too tall or too old to sleep in this one so I'm selling it. It is a 1991 21 foot V6 in A-1 condition(under 47000 miles). Every thing works fine. Email me at tfurd2@yahoo.com
