Thank-you for the response Linda.

It sounds like it might work for me. Nice to get some 'specs' on it before I go see it.  There would have been no point if I found out it had low head-space.

The one I"m thinking about is a '77 with the 20R motor which the only says he's kept up with the maintenance.

It has a bit of fibreglass damage on the front of the roof, so hopefully it's not too bad.

 

Also wondering if anyone has put a toilet into one?

Most likely going to remodel it to suit our needs.  

Wife and I want a big bed, a fridge, and a toilet.  Pretty minimal, but after years of RV'ing we've narrowed down what we really "need" for a run-about RV..

What is the interior height of a Chinook?

I'm about 6'1" and would love it if I didn't have to duck too much inside one.
