  1. Yes, indeed we are talking about the monitor panel
  2. I have a 93 warriar that had the same problem. The sensor wire that connects to the switch has probably come off. it pins on to the back of the panel. remove the panel. and look in the wall for the wire and reconnect. I had to get a look in the wall by putting my head int the cabinet under the stove and looking up into the wall, and then fishing the wire back up and reconnecting it.
  3. I will check that out. It seems like a very tough place to access for a look. Thanks for the info. Charlie
  4. Buftooth: I don't think that is the problem. As I mentioned there seemed to be some effluent dripping from the bottom of the coach from between the floors. Also in the closet where the vent pipe exits, there is a hole between the floors to allow the pipe to go up through the closet and the odor was very strong herem indicating the odor is coming from somewhere below the inside floor. Thanks.
  5. After spending three days camping with my family of four our black water tank was near capacity. No problem when we left for home, but about three quarters of the way home started getting bad septic odors inside. Rolled down all the windows, but was a relief to get home. Saw some effluent driping from bottom of RV on the outside. I emptied the tanks, and there seems to be no lingering odor. Anyone have an idea on what the problem is. What kind of connection is there between the toilet and the tank . could there be a broken seal or pipe that would allow effluent to get betweem the floor and the protective metal on the bottom of the RV when the tank has a high level. Thanks
  6. Ended up building rack out of 3/4 inch galvanized pipe. Bolted it through roof and used extra large fender washer on inside. Took first trip with the canoe and it worked great. Thanks
  7. I have a 93 winni warrier. the outer skin appears to be some kind of fiberglass or? It has two small punctures, less than 1 inch, that I would like to repair. any ideas? Also this unit came with an awning which I can not figure out how it opens up. There is a small lever at the top which appears to make it wind and unwind but I have had no luck getting it to budge. Thanks.
  8. Dennis: I don't know whether level or lower is better, but I was wondering how you attached the rack to the roof. what kind of screws, and what sort of backing did you find under the metal roof skin. thanks.
  9. I would like to attach a roof rack for my canoe on top of my toyota winni. What type of backing is under the metal roof skin. Should I use some sort of special screws or lags, and should some special sealer be used as well. I was also wondering what is the best material for filling screw holes from fixtures removed from the roof. Thanks
