Insufficient cooling even with coleman mach at high

I recently bought a 91 Toy-Itasca Spirit 21ft. and with the Coleman Mach at full blast I get poor cooling even though the air feels pretty cool coming out of the a.c. Are these Toy-homes poorly insulated? Would a new Carrier or Duo-Therm make that much difffernce and will it also be difficult to heat in the winter?
