  1. Hi, Waiter I haven't looked at it closely but I am sure it is a full floater. There are six lug nuts on the wheel. Good day.
  2. Hi, Here is the up date. I changed the fluid. I surely had over filled it last time that I serviced. When I unscrewed the checking hole oil still came out. Well what can I say. I drained it and put close to 1 and 3/4 quart of 75/90 Valvoline gear oil in I took my time so I won't mess up again. So far my hope is that this happened. Oil came out from the vent and at some point it clogged up. That is why I heard that fiss sound when I unscrewed the vent to clean. Without the help of you guys I was heading for disaster. If I am not already. I am so great full of your helps. Good day.
  3. It is getting more complicated now. When I unscrewed the vent I heard a little air comment out.I don't know if that was normal.may be the valve was clogged up.is it possible that the lucas that I added done that?
  4. Hi, I cleaned the valve and put it back. strange valve! Couldn't quite figure out how it works.I suppose it is like a pressure cooker valve that works by weight.Haven't checked the fluid level yet. Will check it one more time when I can find a level ground. Good day.
  5. Thanks again guys. Without this forum and you guys I don't know how I could possibly maintain the beast :-)
  6. Thank you very much Montana.l am glad that you mentioned that before I moved on.I shall get on it first thing tomorrow. Take it out and soak it in carb cleaner over night. I take a look right away. And ask you any question I may have:-)
  7. Hi, I have a 91 warrior, I drove it from SLC Utah to mesquite Nevada (about 300 miles). When I looked under the differential I see wetness from the oil, I took a closer look and it seems that the gasket is not leaking. And around that little vent that looks like a tire valve oil seemed have came out. Not very sure. I checked the oil level and it seemed to be okay. It won't leak when i drive around town. Is it possible that oil can come out from that little vent? a few month ago I wire brush the differential and sprayed anti rust paint on it. It didn't look so bad as to be rusted through(I hope). When I changed the differential oil I added half quart of locus as it said on it that is good for the differential. My guess is that either oil came out from that vent or the axle may be rusted through. God knows what to do if the case is rusted through. Thanks guys.
  8. It seemed to be level at least rear tires were at that same level but the street had a very light slope.I have checked it it twice in two different places. And it was good. I will check it again once I am on the road.
  9. Hi, I took a closer look at the differential(with a mirror). It seems that the gasket is not leaking and it seems to me that the oil came out from the top of the differential from that little vent thing that looks like a tire valve. I checked the oil level and it seemed to be right to the inspection hole. I am glad that you said that you never heard of one rusting through. I wonder how thick that housing is. Because a few month ago when it was warm I wire brushed the differential and it didn't look too bad to me and I painted it with stop rust paint. It does not seem that it leaks any more but I have only driven it around town and a little bit on the free way. Is it possible that the oil came out from that vent and why?
  10. Thank you guys for the responses. I had a hard time logging in. Apparently on these units you are supposed to do a reset. You shut the valve and start the unit for five minutes . Then you open the gas valve and you are set. Also i was low on propane. filling up and doing the reset took care of the problem. Now I have a problem with the axle. I drove for about 300 miles from SLC to Mesquite Nevada. Looking at the deferential I see wetness on the bottom of it. Checked the oil level it was OK. I changed the differential oil before the trip and I added locus . May be that locus thinned out the oil and this happened. It is either the gasket or the little vent on the top leaks or the axle is rusted through:( I will change the diff oil again tomorrow and go from there. Will keep posted. If I needed the differential gasket where would have one for a 91 warrior? Thank you guys and hope to meet some day.
  11. Hi, My furnace leaks propane and I can smell it. When I shut the valve to the furnace there is no leak. So the leak is inside the furnace. Do I have to take the furnace out? I suppose that i have to. Does any body have such problem? How would you take the furnace out? And it is getting colder where I am. Thanks, Mason
  12. Hi What you did is great, a little beyond for what i want to do. My tongue weight is not going to be more than 80 pounds. I think that all i need is to strengthen the connection between the truck frame and the end of the toy. merely add and weld a c Chanel (3 to 4 feet long) and it should withstand the extra 80 pound extra.
  13. That is not good, May be i can take a pic from that little hole to see the thickness of the shoes i am glad you told me in advance.
  14. Thank you Linda I will experiment both colors ,
  15. Right, not the high temperature paint but i think that i need to hide the unevenness by using hammered paint. But as you said avoid silver and go with gray. I will post a picture of before and after. And also I need to find out the condition of the rear breaks while i am at it. I don't know how the drum break comes out. I will post a picture of the drum as it is on the truck tomorrow. Thanks,
  16. I read some of the posts on painting the rims. Now i have to find high temprature hammered paint. Thank you
  17. Great now I can get to work. My rims are having some rust on them. i want to take them out and sand and repaint it. Any tips on that?
  18. Another question. Can i jack up the rear tire with a 2 ton floor jack to take the tire out? I want to know if some one has done it so that I don't destroy the floor jack. Thanks a lot.
  19. I see, those black cylindrical rubber looking thing next to rear tiers are air bags . May be I just put a metal bar under the rear bumper and attach a hitch to carry two bicycle on it and give up the idea of pulling a trailer. I hate to damage the toy with my greed:) Thank you.
  20. Hi, I clicked on the first link that you shared. The page said not found. is it my computer?
  21. Great , I checked it up and it doesn't have the air shocks(thank god).
  22. Excellent, going through instead of going over and under. I just remembered that it has rear air shocks. May be it is impossible and i should just be happy with installing a bicycle mount:)
