  1. I just noticed this comment. I am afraid to pump it very high in case the leak gets worse. Now every time that I move the motorhome I put some air in it and it lasts a few hours.
  2. Hi, I have attached the picture. I still don't know how to jack up the rear to get the tires out without using the frame so that I can pin point the leak. Derek , Is the one that is on mine made by firestone? the price is great. does it fit without any modification? I don't know if I should go back to salt lake (300 miles)where I have access to a shop or this can be done here in front of the auto zone?:-) First I have to find out how to jack up with the little jack that comes with it . And then I have to torque it to 150 pounds per foot. Thanks a lot.
  3. Hi, Derek How would you go about checking the leak? There is a jack that came with the truck. If I put it on the frame it damages the bags and it says 2000 k maximum load on it. Where do you put the jack in case you got a flat tire on the road? And the leak seems to be very slow. I checked Firestone and their kits bag looks not cylinder looking like mine. I can post a picture of the bag tomorrow once I find out how on this blog. Thanks.
  4. Well it seems that they leak air slowly.so I have to replace them. Any body knows where I can get them from. I have a 91 v6 warrior . are these trucks called T 100 or just Toyota truck ? I don't know but I did jack up the rear by the frame once to paint the wheels. That must have done it(how would you know that you are not suppose to do that which is not mentioned in the owner manual). Thanks again. I will be an old man before I can go a long distance with this thing:-)
  5. Hi, I put about 35 pound on each air suspension last night but this morning they were both 15 psi. I load them up to 35 psi a few hour ago and been driving it around . So far it is holding. You always find out after some thing goes wrong with these things. Good day.
  6. Hi,What air pressure do you put on them. Today when I was checking my axle oil I noticed that one of the air suspension looked crooked and found out that the other one which didn't look crooked didn't have any air pressure in it. So I raised the rear of the motor home and put some air in both (about 20 psi) it drives so much better. What is the maximum pressure that you can put on them? Thanks.
  7. I said I used to get it last year . yes if I get the same mileage I will be a happy camper. I have to go some where and find out. Good day.
  8. Hi Derek, the way I do it is that I choose a gas station and choose one of the pumps (on a flatter ground). Then I fill it up till it stops. Then after driving 40 miles or so I go to the same pump and fill up again and divide the results.
  9. Hi Maineah. You may be right, 8 miles per gallon in the city may be normal. Before I touch anything and possibly mess some thing up. I should go for a 40 miles trip on the high way and check the mileage. Last year I got 15 miles per gallon on the high way. I have to read your writing one more time. Thanks and have a wonderful day.
  10. Hi,here I am again up to changing the o2 sensors because I get only 8 miles per gallon on the city. The check engine light is not on. My question is first what type and where to get one economically? My other question that I have to ask you fellows is that these rusty looking nuts and bolts won't they shear when trying to undo. Your experiences and comments are greatly appreciated . Good day,
  11. Hi, I haven't been kept track of the gas mileage. I will find out and go from there. The spark plug wires from Bosch wouldn't even go inside the distributor end so I returned them. Will check into Napa's wires to see if they fit. I was hoping that there was a start up unit on the injection side that needed cleaning or some thing. I have to find out how a fuel injection motors starts out . I kind of know how a carburetor engine starts. Good day .
  12. Thank you JD for the information. I will definitely check the engine mounts first thing in the morning (once I localize them). The shake is not sever. But in comparing with the other V6 that I had before it shakes abnormally and I plan to travel to California because I lost my job and the house (that I thought it was half mine!) back in Utah. So I have to make sure that things are dependable on the RV. I am going to change the spark plug wires with Bosch wires from Auto Zone since there is no Toyota dealer here in Mesquite Nevada. I also found out that the distributor on the rig is an aftermarket from Auto zone.
  13. Yes but I have a feeling that it has to do with a tune up. I have had a car with a broken engine mount. It shakes at idle speed also. I just changed the spark plugs and is doing a little better. Thanks.
  14. Hi, I have a 91 V6 fuel injection. I don't know why the engine shakes when I starting the engine. Either when it is cold or warm. It also shakes when I turn the engine off. But it shows no sign of shaking when driving or idling. Has anybody experienced such a thing? Please share your thought if you would. Thanks and have a great day.
  15. I installed my back up camera on the top of the rv. I removed one of those red lights and mounted the camera there. Got the electricity from there. But every time that I use it I have to turn my lights on.
  16. Thanks Jdemaris and Maineah and all the helpful commentators in this blog. I will have to crawl under the truck and check the brakes some times. It doesn't squeak unless I go back ward and use the brakes which may be normal. Good day gentleman.
  17. Yes it is just a open vent but mine was clogged up because that thick oil over Flow there.
  18. I once wanted to check the condition of the rear brakes and some one said to even check that you have to change the seal.So I gave up.
