Chevy alternative to Toyota RV

1988 Provan Tiger with 4.3 liter V6.  15-16 MPG and will easily cruise at 70 MPH. I've wanted one for years.  Just not willing to spend that much money.  This one is for sale in Colorado where my son lives. If it was $5000-$6000 - I'd own it by now.

nice woodwork on the interior.  wonder if that's all factory; seems to be some that looks less faux-woofgrain.  I need to build a ladder like that for getting into the bandit upper bunk.

love the power and the mpg... the camper and chevy engine part not so much.

I cant give up the size of the sunrader or larger. to WMEs point i'd probably be served better with a class C but , they are just too dang huge. If I ever get a spare 80k$ I will switch to the sprinter platform but for now I don't mind dropping a couple grand into the sunrader.

my old 4.3 rendezvous was nothing but trouble. blew 3 head gaskets.

I keep waiting for that one 3.slow v6 odyssey American to pop up for sale... that would be the only thing that would get a stiff consideration.
