WME Posted August 16, 2015 Share Posted August 16, 2015 Managed to score a 3 day weekend, so went fishing. Nice trip for a Toyota. Limited out first day, got skunked second day and a couple the third day. Breakfast, lot to be said for frying up some bacon, onion, baked potatoes left in the campfire over night and pan fried fresh trout. A few pics On the way, we're headed into a box canyon. Into the canyon We down here and going up there. You can see a couple of the switch backs near the top. The climb is over 2500 ft in 6 miles. The pass is around 9000 ft. Half way to the top, looking back. Not saying the road is twisty, but one sign is for folks going up and the other is for going down Guard rail???? we don't need no stinking guard rail. 2/3s of the way up.
