MontanaChinook
Driving the Chinook around, I've been noticing that something still rattles a ton, even though its still half gutted. I figured out yesterday that its the side windows. They have a lot of play in their tracks. I'm having a hard time seeing what would tighten them up. There is some kind of felt stuff along the edges, is that what would hold them more securely? Or is there another option? I know I'll have rattles, but I was hoping after a complete rebuild of the interior, it would quiet down a bit!
linda s
Found another site that was talking about the same issue and they seemed to think the old felt was the problem. Here's some. Don't know if it's the right size but the only one for rv windows I could find http://www.all-rite.com/window-pile-p-862.html Linda S
MontanaChinook
Thank you Linda. Yeah, from the photo, that's some seriously more substantial felt than what's crumbling out of my windows...Should do the trick!
