Totem Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 of course this will require a large steamer if you do crab, but we often like to do frozen, raw shrimp, lobster or crab. even if frozen solid we do this: 1.) place in lukewarm water for 30 minutes 2.) drain, de-vein (if needed) shell etc and prep butter/lemons 3.) put in steam for 4 minutes after steamer is pre-boiling 4.) eat Of course in Maine we just hit the lobster market and got them cooked ready to eat at a certain pickup time... Nere Beach campground in Maine is a lobster lovers Toy Home Mecca. I plan on returning. If you need a trip, like REAL and HUGE lobsters and a beach that has golden sand with iron pyrite, a pier that has roller coasters etc and fantastic sunrises go here: Lobster market is literally acorss the street, beach a block away. If i lived in Maine I would totally Rally this place.... http://nerebeach.com/ Quote
