The pros: 1.)They can be had cheap. $180 I think or less. 2.)Bolt on with only a jack needed to install ; installation done in 2 hours DIY 3.) No leaking airbag to worry about obsessively like the rest of us. Cons: Not as easily adjusted; some trial and error for ride right and cannot be easily adjusted for load compensation Will only get you so much height Check you installation for compatibility with Sway bar if have one... They can make/rebuild any spring and also make you new "U" bolts to hold them on probably for less then buying them. Most spring shops deal with trucks and they can tell you what you need by the weight. Quote

sdboltdude Posted October 9, 2012 Author Posted October 9, 2012 called san diego springs for rebuilding my leaf springs and add 2 extra all clamps & fittings labor & parts $780 Parts only install myself $525 on a budget so will prob do it my self Tech told me to 1.jack up truck so rear-end is 3/4 inch higher the front of rv measure from bottom of tire to top chassis for right size springs.... for rebuilt springs and new parts sounds like a good deal...Don't think could do any cheaper...
