Kensandiego
I have a 92 Winnie Itasca and it has no sliding entry/exit step below the side door, it looks like it never had one. How do you install one of these metal rv steps? Thank you! Ken
Maineah
Wow I would not think it came with out one that's quite a step up they are easy to damage on rough roads did you have a look underneath to see if there are any holes drilled in the frame work? If not they are not that hard to install just involves some drilling. A little hint use shake proof nuts on the bolts.
Derek up North
Winnebago was kind of stingy with the steps. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TOYOTA-V6-WARRIOR-ULTIMATE-AWESOME-93-/110656155184?pt=RVs_Campers&hash=item19c39eee30 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Winnebago-Warrior-Toyota-Chassis-V6-Runs-Drives-Great-/300532480059?pt=RVs_Campers&hash=item45f921b83b http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1991-Winnebago-Warrior-321RB-Toyota-3-0L-V6-EFI-Auto-/260743268172?pt=RVs_Campers&hash=item3cb582874c
Kensandiego
I looked under there and it was smooth, never had one installed. I can buy one for $40 but do I use screws or bolts? Do the bolts come up through the carpet?
wistoy
I have a sea breeze, no step, but the inside step up is a fiberglass shell, I think mounting a step to this shell would damage the inner step, because of the leverage of the extended step. I us a 8" x18"x24" folding metel stool "step" that I store flat on the floor (only 1") when traveling. I think it came from camping world around $80. The step is also coated with a very agresive non slip material and does not sink in to the ground at the camp site.
