In case anyone is considering camping at the Oshgosh EAA - Campgrounds next year, I would recommend to camp somewhere else. The nightly fee was $22 with a 3 day mininum stay,

but one had to pay in advance for the remainer of the show which means anywhere from

3 to 7 days. One can get a refund for any unused days (days 4 to 7) upon checkout.

The $22 rate does not include any hookups, but did allow access to a dump/water

station and showers, however the showers were not the best (shower head was a

kitchen sink rinse hose).

There was suppossed to be free WIFI, but they were either down or overloaded, could

never make a connection.

There did not appear to be any rule enforcement, kids where riding mini-bikes and ATVs

(rule was only licensed riders), and finding a site was the responsibility of the

camper, one had to drive until one found one.

The airshow was great, but the camping was pretty poor, and light rain required some

RVs to sink requiring farm tractors to pull them out.

On the West side of route 41 there were $10 a night non-EAA sites on pavement.
