cliff880 Posted August 26, 2006 Share Posted August 26, 2006 On the backstroke I have been renovating an "87" Dolphin with a 4 cyl. and can't get fuel to the injectors.Before I pull the pump from the tank how can I check to see if the pump is in fact getting power??Is there an inline fuse?? Will a v/6 fuel pump interchange with a 4 cyl pump? It looks like they both deliver 225 lph. Cliff Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
dcg9381 Posted August 10, 2007 Share Posted August 10, 2007 Search google: "4crawler" "fuel pump" You can jumper some pins on the diagnostic port to trigger the pump. Normally the pump is grounded at the AFM when the AFM detects airflow... I don't know if the pumps will interchange, but you can buy aftermarket pumps for around $100.
