Dogwaggin Posted September 22 Posted September 22 I have a chance to acquire a 91 Winnebago Mini Warrior for a good price. I’m thinking of swapping my 78 Sunrader shell over. Anyone know the feasibility of this? My thinking is this: it has a newer and larger engine (has the 3.0 but has been rebuilt recently) I can get the unit for less than an engine rebuild that the Rader I have would need sooner than later. I’d hopefully make it up hills a bit faster! My concern: Fit. Anyone done this or have thoughts? Quote
MaineJed Posted September 23 Posted September 23 Too small. Get a 94 and older toyota pickup and put your shell On that. Quote
Dogwaggin Posted September 24 Author Posted September 24 After looking at the Warrior, which was on a 91 Toyota chassis decided not to go down that route. I’d really like to keep the 78/79 (chassis says 78 I think the title says 79) Sunrader and will just plan to upgrade the engine in the future. Quote
WME Posted September 24 Posted September 24 If you want a little more getup and go, a R22 should drop in. Its a 2.4L engine Quote
Dogwaggin Posted September 24 Author Posted September 24 Agreed will probably make the swap to a 22R at some point Quote
