Luke Dawson Posted September 9 Posted September 9 Hello all, Have been on this site regularly since we purchased an 85 Sunland Express. Great resources thank you so much. Love this camper, though it was bought during the pandemic as it was the best thing we could afford and knowing that mechanical issues were bound to happen eventually. I am in no way motor-savvy. So the radiator and gasket blew, one cylinder is not firing, and we are looking at 3k-5k in repairs even as we wait for a complete diagnostic. These trucks are not so common in our parts and so I turn to this group as to evaluate if getting a new engine would be a better decision, and if any upgrades would be well-suited while doing so. I have found many leads and different takes on this issue but any opinion will help us get over the heap and encourage us to keep going! The motor is it's original 22RE. Thanks! Quote
