Toyachta89 Posted November 2, 2024 Posted November 2, 2024 Not a land mechanic . 1989 Dolphin help please solutions to sag on rear axle . etrailer have a kit which you can swop the leaf springs under the axle to above the axle and gain a couple of inches at least has anyone ever done this is it possible or completely wrong .? Ive been considering air lift bags load lifter 5000 parts AL 57113 and AL 88113 but they get fat and hard with pressure but do not do any lifting . ( yes im sure they make the ride much better but the point is to stop her waste exit pipe from dragging on a dirt road ) no other air lift model number apparently is allowed or fits . is there anyone with knowledge of an AL/ other manufacturer / part number which will LIFT the rear end and fit the axle . like i see on all these fancy pick up truck videos showing an air lift bag expanding upwards to nearly 2 inches of lift . does anyone make that so it will fit our old toyota frame , or for example a u sheet metal bracket so it makes an extra inch or so then use the part numbers above etc., or a pair of brackets that will fit the parts numbers above and provide lift at either end .... Surely over all these years someone on this forum knows a way to correctly lift the rear end of our precious time machines. Sorry for frustration spent hours online getting nowhere. Have good local mechanic ready to fit whatever I can get at fair price. Thanks for any comments ! Quote
