Ctgriffi
Doing some cleanup on the Warrior’s original propane tank, dealing with a lot of surface rust and years of dirt and debris. All the original adhesive labels are long gone—anybody know what’s required in terms of stickers/decals on a tank like this (and best place to source) - ? IdahoDoug
For my 1982 Sunrader's tank, I brought it in to be recertified a couple weeks ago, and they sold me a new sticker set for it for a few dollars on top of the $15 recert price. You'll need to go to a propane supplier for this. I told them I'm planning to repaint it, and they said to apply the stickers after the painting. One sticker reads "this tank has no overfill protection valve" or something like that as new tanks have those. Yours may be similar - dunno. But call around before you go. Some suppliers were a pain and didn't want to mess with it and quoted big money. After a few calls I found one happy to do it for reasonable money and they also filled them for me.
